Alabama Cycling Camp
Ramer is a quaint small southern town located in central
Alabama. It is an ideal location to have an early season cycling camp due
to the mild winter weather, beautifully paved new roads with dozens of quiet
scenic routes, fresh sweet smelling clean air, and all the town’s amenities in
short walking distance. The Alabama Cycling Camp is ideal for the serious racer
or casual rider. It's a cyclist's dream getaway.

Training
Every morning will begin at 8am with the day's agenda: breakfast, a required morning stretch
followed by a 3-4 hour training ride. Each night will include optional educational lectures on time trialing,
racing strategies, climbing, speed training, base miles, recovery and nutrition. Each participant has the option
for a $100 fee to be individually video taped and critiqued for bike position and efficiency of riding style on
both road or time trial bicycles. |

Lodging
Located in the heart of the deep south in a small community called Ramer, Alabama. The spacious camp residence
has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with showers, laundry facilities and secure bike storage. Heating and cooling equipped.
The community of Ramer has a library with internet access, a health center, bank, post office and a food market all
within close walking distance. |
Dining
We will include all breakfasts, lunches and dinners at the camp. A quality camp means having delicious,
healthy food and plenty of it.
